Trying to Get Outta the House…#Friday #Night #Houston…#Free #BadTeacher Viewing

FREE Midnight Showing of Bad Teacher

You know we love free! I can’t wait to see this movie.  All my friends and family are teachers and I have a distinct feeling this movie will remind me of one of them.  It looks to be about a girl who finds herself stuck in the teaching industry, but wishes to have lots of money. The two don’t usually mix, unfortunately. I wanted to see this movie when it first came out, but I was preoccupied.  Now’s here’s our chance!  We found this deal on  FreeSampleFreak.com. Sign up and get emails daily and save money.  Gotta keep your money, right?!  Or as much of it as possible?  There’s nothing wrong with having fun on a dime or for Free!

We tried the link and it’s legit…at least for Houston, TX locations.  Type in your zip code and see what’s available in your area.   Just print your pass and get your butt there a little before midnight tonight.  Seating is limited so be there early to be first in line to get your seat.  Just because you RSVP’d doesn’t usually mean anything at these free pass shows.

Hope you enjoy!  Hit us back up if you go!

FREE Midnight Screening of the movie Bad Teacher. Go here and enter your zip code to find a showing near you!

I’m the party girl of the group.  I just feel like having Fun in life is important.  Anyplace with a bumping dj and live music, especially concerts, makes me lose control.

Check out Part 2 of Jimmy Fallon’s and Justin Timberlake’s tribute to Hip Hop! They went there and I was taken back.  All my TryingTwenties and Flirty Thirty Sorors can appreciate every song on the playlist.  And the Roots…What?!  Can I say Jammin’ in the background?! They did the damn thang!

It’s Monday, Get your Party on and your Sexy back…LOL

#WeLove Fedoras and #Fashionista s….#Style Profile

07/18/2011

Here’s an interesting question we found perusing the net.  What we thought was a Fedora is actually a Trilby.  Well, guess what we have in stock? Grey, Dk Brown and Ivory Trilby’s at TryingTwenties.com.

Reader Question: Trilby vs. Fedora

By Truth in Fashion | Published: June 27, 2011

Dear Truth in Fashion,

I see hats called fedoras, and others called trilbies, but I really don’t see a difference, are they the same thing?

Mindy

Dear Mindy,

They look a lot alike but actually have subtle differences. What we are seeing right now in fashion being called a fedora is most likely a trilby. A trilby hat has a thinner rim than a fedora. For some fun facts about the names of these hats, the trilby was named after a play based off of George du Maurier’s book, Trilby. In the play, one of the characters wore one of these hats. The fedora was also named after a play called Princess Fedora where the main character wore this style of hat.

Thanks Truth in Fashion!

Lesson Learned and I still get to be in Style!

LIVE Life…And get your terminology right.
